New skills funding opens data and ai training to Swindon and Wiltshire businesses

Businesses that understand their data make better decisions, move faster, and get more from the AI tools they are already investing in. Right now, building that capability costs a fraction of what most businesses expect.

Through the UK Government’s Skills Bootcamp programme, Swindon and Wiltshire businesses can access professional data analytics training from Code Institute, an Ofsted Outstanding provider, with up to 90% of the cost covered. That brings the net cost to as little as £300 per person for SMEs. Self-employed individuals pay nothing.

This is not just for data or technical teams

If your team works with spreadsheets, reports, performance data, or AI tools, these courses are built for them. No technical background required. No coding experience needed.

These courses are designed for the professionals already in your business, the operations manager who compiles the same report every week, the finance lead who wants figures they can fully trust, the marketing manager making decisions from dashboards they did not build, and the business owner who wants to know what their data is actually telling them.

What your team will be able to do

– Cut manual reporting time significantly
– Replace static spreadsheets with live Power BI dashboards that update automatically
– Automate repetitive data tasks that currently take hours every week
– Make decisions from data they fully trust and present it with confidence
– Get more reliable results from the AI tools your organisation is already using

Performance gains you can measure
Code Institute has already worked with learners in Swindon and Wiltshire through previous cohorts. Graduates from the region have reported measurable improvements in their professional performance: Greg Huddle, Global Core Finance Application Platform Manager at Zurich Insurance, reduced financial report processing times by 25–30%; and Lucy Lynch, Chief of Staff at Omniadigital, credits the programme with enabling her to win new business through deeper data credibility in client conversations.

Places are limited
The April cohort is open now and places are filling. If you’re a business leader considering this for your team, or a professional who wants to bring this opportunity to your employer, now is the time to act.
