Service Technician Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Swindon

Full-time | 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm &1 in 4 Sat – 8:30am to 1pm

At Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Swindon, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high‑performing aftersales team. You’ll work in our 18‑bay workshop, supported by a knowledgeable team that includes three Master Technicians and a longest‑serving Technician with over 40 years of experience. You’ll also benefit from strong senior support and colleagues currently progressing through JLR’s manufacturer training programmes.

The site is consistently achieving its monthly budgeted targets, giving you strong earning potential and a stable, successful environment to grow your career. You’ll also have access to excellent facilities, including free tea and coffee, a fully equipped tearoom with instant hot water, microwave and TV, plus onsite parking.

In this role:

– You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
– You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
– You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We’re looking for:

– Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
– Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
– Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
– Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
– Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your – Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
