Launch night sells out for new business networking group

Tickets for the launch event of Royal Wootton Bassett’s new Cotswold Networking group have officially sold out, showing there’s a huge appetite for collaborative business connections across the local area.

The sell-out launch evening on Thursday September 17 marks the official debut of Cotswold Networking’s ninth branch, bringing the successful model to the Royal Wootton Bassett and Swindon area for the first time.

Following the launch, PR expert Fiona Scott, founder of Scott Media, will officially take over as permanent Group Leader. The next meeting will be on October 15.

Founded in 2022 by Angela Roberts, Cotswold Networking was created to help local enterprises reconnect and build meaningful professional relationships. The network has rapidly expanded to include eight thriving monthly groups across Malmesbury, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, Witney, Corsham, and Worcester. The Royal Wootton Bassett group is the ninth.

The launch night will take place at RWB Auctions’ The View Gallery, owned by local entrepreneur Jon White of Gold Traders, featuring presentations from both Jon and Fiona. From October onwards, Fiona will lead the monthly sessions. Each session will feature Cotswold Networking’s signature around-the-table format alongside guest speakers drawn from the membership.

“I am absolutely thrilled that our Royal Wootton Bassett Cotswold Networking launch night has sold out. It tells you everything about the appetite for real, friendly connection among businesses in the area,” said Angela.

“I started Cotswold Networking to help local businesses support one another, and to see the community here embrace it so warmly before we have even opened the doors is wonderful. I am also delighted that from October the brilliant Fiona Scott will be taking the reins as Group Leader, and I could not think of a better person to lead this group forward.”

While individual tickets for the September launch are now sold out, local business owners can still secure a spot through a limited number of Founder Memberships. Priced at £40 plus VAT per month, members pay nothing until September, but can enjoy full benefits straight away. This includes having a dedicated profile page on the Cotswold Networking website, an invitation to an exclusive pre-launch online meeting, entry to the launch event with a goodie bag, and instant access to The Circle, an online community space designed to keep conversations and support going between monthly face-to-face meetups.

To secure one of the remaining Founder Memberships, or to book as a visitor for the next Royal Wootton Bassett meetup on Thursday October 15, visit cotswoldnetworking.co.uk.
