Kids travelling by train can now enjoy allergen-free snacks thanks to creative nature

Award-winning free-from food brand Creative Nature has partnered with Eurostar to include its children’s Mango & Carrot Kids Snack Bar in the Eurostar Kids Bag, helping to make family travel safer and more inclusive for children with food allergies.

The partnership has been delivered in collaboration with MileOne, which identified Creative Nature as the right fit for Eurostar’s children’s offering after several months of working closely with the brand.

The Mango & Carrot Kids Snack Bar, which is free from the UK’s top 14 allergens, will be included in the Eurostar Kids Bag, giving parents peace of mind and children a safe, tasty snack to enjoy during their journey.

Julianne Ponan MBE, founder and CEO of Surrey based Creative Nature, said:

“As someone with life-threatening allergies, I know how stressful travel can be when you’re unsure what food is safe. Seeing our kids’ Mango Bar included in the Eurostar Kids Bag is incredibly special. It means families can travel knowing there’s a snack their child can enjoy safely, without worry, and that’s exactly why Creative Nature exists.”

Ed Packenham, Managing Director at MileOne, said “MileOne has been working with Creative Nature for the past few months and we really believe in both the product and the solution they offer. We had been waiting for the right opportunity, and the Eurostar Kids Bag felt like the perfect fit”.

The partnership reflects a growing demand for safer, more inclusive food options while travelling, particularly for families managing allergies.

This latest milestone is personal for the CEO of Creative Nature as Julianne has severe and life-threatening food allergies herself. Now in her mid 30s, she had many experiences in childhood of being excluded due to her serious allergies. These included:

*being forced to eat at a separate ‘allergy’ table at school.

*unable to attend children’s parties because her parents were concerned about the food being offered.

*not being invited to any parties or events because her needs were too ‘difficult’.

*being excluded from events which involve food – such a ‘trick or treat’ at Halloween – because there were too many risks.

“When you are realise as a child that you are different and that difference often means you are ‘left out’ or you feel like a ‘burden’ that stays with you into adulthood. Every step we take to change that positively is a ‘right’ step to make sure that children with allergies are more understood and included as much as possible in all experiences that others take for granted,” Julianne said.

Creative Nature’s Mango & Carrot Kids Snack Bar is designed specifically with children in mind, combining great taste with allergen safety, and aligns with the brand’s wider mission to ensure nobody feels excluded because of what they can or cannot eat.

Creative Nature is a leading free-from food brand dedicated to creating delicious products that are safe for people living with the top 14 allergens. The brand is committed to inclusivity, ensuring that food brings people together, not apart, whether at home or while travelling.
