Expansion planned to celebrate 10-year anniversary of environmental supporter

The Cotswold Range, located on the Spine Road within the Cotswold Lakes, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this February, marking a decade of year-on-year growth, national recognition, and strong community and environmental commitment.

Founded in 2016, The Cotswold Range is a multi-award-winning indoor archery and air-rifle venue that has grown into one of the highest-rated activity venues in the UK on TripAdvisor, while remaining firmly rooted in the local area.

Over the past ten years, The Cotswold Range has built partnerships with more than 40 local businesses and has consistently focused on sustainability and responsible development.

The all-weather venue that offers unforgettable experiences for families, groups and corporate teams is set within a landscaped environment designed to enhance biodiversity, reflecting the company’s founding values. As part of its commitment to the local environment, The Cotswold Range has made substantial donations and ongoing contributions to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, the Cotswold Lakes Trust and the Bumblebee Trust.

Alongside its environmental work, the business has seen steady annual growth every year since opening and now attracts visitors from across the region and beyond. Plans are currently in place to expand the site further, including the addition of a coffee shop and a dedicated event space, creating new opportunities for local employment and collaboration.

Founder and Director, Steve Gleed said:

“We’ve loved building something a bit different and introducing our games to customers of all ages. Reaching 10 years is a real achievement, but it still feels like we’re only just getting started. While tourism plays a big role, the support from local businesses and local customers has been a huge part of the journey.”
