TV Presenter and Antiques Expert Headlines Two-Day Wiltshire Event

Article by Scott Media

TV presenter and antiques expert Paul Martin will be headlining a new antiques and vintage fair which will be opening its doors to the public for the first time in the county on Saturday September 21.
Paul will be the star attraction at the event which will be held at Trowbridge Civic Centre and he will also be valuing items for visitors throughout Saturday September 21.

“I’m delighted to be asked to open this weekend event and to also run a charity auction for Wiltshire Air Ambulance at 4pm on the Saturday. I’m also going to be on hand to do valuations all day. I’m always intrigued by the items people bring in and the stories they reveal,” Paul said.

The Wiltshire-based celebrity is working in partnership with Stephen Large of Large Events. Stephen previously ran the Chiswick Antiques Fair but has relocated to the South West and has spent time searching for a new and suitable venue.

He said: “Paul Martin is widely known as one of the most famous antiques celebrities and we are delighted to be associated with him. Visitors across the weekend can not only meet Paul but they can browse a range of antiques from jewellery to sculpture, from postcards to militaria.”

Paul has been a TV presenter and expert for more than 20 years on programmes including the Antiques Road Trip, Flog It!, Countryfile and many more. He has a new series, Paul Martin’s Auction Showdown, on Channel 5 this year.

This inaugural event in Trowbridge will involve 50 dealers and Stephen is already planning future events. For more information visit http://www.largeevents.co.uk
