Local artiste and writer, Lizzie Skinner is staging a show called ‘Phuckets and Rainbows’ taking place on Friday and Saturday March 21 and 22 in South Cerney Village Hall with further dates planned in Cheltenham and Barnstaple.
The show, which Lizzie calls a Dramedy – a drama and comedy – will appeal to anyone over the age of 16, but she does warn that there is some swearing in the show and it does talk about adult subjects such as mental health.
“Phuckets and Rainbows is about the magic and madness of one woman,” explained Lizzie. “It’s the story of someone, who gets back up off the floor more times than she falls down. Every time she gets up, she learns a little more about love, laughter, light, hope.”
Lizzie is probably best known as Lizzie Bean, the creator of Beanology taking her Bean-concept into schools and the workplace. She also shares her philosophy of living to all human beans as a way to feel better with self-care, self-love, wellbeing and courage and provides the tools to improve your mental health and motivation.
Very recently, Lizzie held the launch of her latest book: ‘The Book of Bean’ at Octavia’s Bookshop in Cirencester. She said: “There was a gaggle of beautiful hearts gathered in the most glorious of locations. We had conversations about the stories amid the quiet rustle of pages turning! I was blown away by the love!”
The cost for tickets ‘Phuckets and Rainbows’ at South Cerney is £11 plus booking fee from www.ticketlab.app/series/1941#. For more information, please contact Lizzie on 07786 072601, Lizzie@beanology.co.uk.
