New! Dedicated showcase for local businesses at RIAT

New this year at the Royal International Air Tattoo will be a dedicated showcase for local businesses as part of the air show’s continued commitment to strengthening ties with the community.

The local business showcase is designed to give smaller and emerging brands access to some of RIAT’s 180,000+ visitors and, on offer, there will be a limited number of heavily subsidised spaces for businesses in the local area.

Your brand will be centre stage as you engage with tens of thousands of visitors on RIAT’s peak weekend days – Saturday and Sunday July 18 and 19. This is an opportunity to get unmatched exposure to the largest weekend crowds and elevate your brand on a global stage.

Fifteen local businesses can take part, and each can expect a 3m frontage in tented shedding (3m x 3m) in a prime location on the taxiway in front of the Family Enclosure. A six-foot trestle table will be included. Your company banner on the front of your space. Two access passes (staff) and one vehicle pass will be included. Showcase promotion in the mobile app; business listings and the air show website. Plus, access to 2027 bookings onsite.

The cost for this unique opportunity is £500 + VAT (the usual price is £1,400 + VAT). Trading will be from 7.30am to 7.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Load in on Friday evening July 17 and load out on Sunday July 19 after the show closes.

The focus of the local business showcase is to spotlight businesses in the local community with a story tied to the local area. The RIAT team will be assessing applications received and selecting local businesses that are part of the local fabric, as well as ensuring a good business mix in the showcase itself.

This business showcase is open only to small/medium businesses within a 25-mile radius of Fairford (GL7 4RB). Only 15 spaces are available and will be decided on by application quality and business mix. Catering providers (including coffee, sandwiches, bars, fresh food) will not be accepted for showcase spaces.

To apply, please email Charlie Litchfield, Customer Engagement Manager at RAF Charitable Trust Enterprises at Charlie.Litchfield@rafcte.com with your business name; description of your product/service; what makes your business a true part of the local community; number of employees; full business address and website link. Applications close on Friday May 8 at 5pm.
