Swindon Paint Fest returns with focus on Swindon talent

Swindon Paint Fest is back. Since its launch in 2022, the much-loved festival has grown into a vibrant celebration of creativity. Now, in 2025, it’s proudly putting a spotlight to its roots: focusing on local artists, grassroots and emerging talent, at the creative heart of Swindon, in and around Theatre Square and Regent Circus.

Swindon Paint Fest 2025 continues to provide a platform for artists and the community, creating accessible and inclusive public art to be enjoyed throughout the year. The festival promises a celebration of creativity that everyone can enjoy and take part in, where there’ll be local and emerging artists from all walks of life performing live painting, workshops and setting up their stalls with music and entertainment throughout the day.

Organisers of Swindon Paint Fest said:

“This year, we’re making it a priority to highlight the amazing creative talents here in Swindon. It’s about bringing the focus back home and providing local artists with opportunities and recognition.”

A Swindon Paint Fest Artist shared:

“I’ve followed the growth of the festival for years. It’s incredible to see how much talent has been showcased. I love to be part of this cultural experience that brings the community together.

“As someone who began through street art, coming home to Swindon and seeing the town brought to life with a fresh lick of paint is inspiring.”

This year, Swindon Paint Fest is being powered by passion, creativity, and community spirit – with no external grant funding and countless volunteer hours. Thanks to the incredible support of local charity Artsite, the festival is still set to return, but it needs more help to shine.

Thank you to Swindon Paint Fest’s current sponsors GEL Studios, Mongoose Publishing, Wyvern Theatre, South Parish Council, Pentel, Painting by Numbers, Rudi’s and Brewers Decorators Centres who help us make this event possible.

Organisers are inviting more local businesses and community partners to be part of something special. Whether it’s through funding, sponsorship, donating materials, or offering in-kind support, your involvement can help transform this pocket of town with colour, connection, and creativity.
