Swindon Paint Fest 2023 Headline artists have now been announced

Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural festival, 2023 plans to be bigger and better than before. Over 50 renowned international and local artists, showcasing their talents, are set to transform Swindon into a bright and vibrant town. Creating not only an attraction for the weekend but something that will turn Swindon into a go-to destination for street art.

Six headliner muralists of international calibre will be arriving in Swindon from mid-August through to September to complete their works. More details of the exact locations and dates will be published nearer the main event, taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of September.

Travelling all the way from Spain, the female duo MEDIANERAS want to change the way we perceive spaces through their public art and cannot wait to transform a uniquely shaped large gable end for us (www.medianeras.com.ar).

Swindon will be welcoming HazardOne. Recognised as one of the Top 5 female graffiti artists in the UK [The Guardian] and the Top 25 female street artists worldwide [The Huffington Post]. She combines rich colour palettes with illumination and modern-age glitch effects to create striking portraits using traditional free-hand graffiti techniques. She’s taking on a huge wall in the town centre (www.hazardone.co.uk).

The following artists all painted at last year’s inaugural festival and are excited to return to Swindon to showcase their talents even further.

Andrew Burns Colwill (www.andisart.com)
Andrew’s work offers a skilled and sometimes shocking reflection of us and our modern society. Executed in a classical motif with a refined palate and delicate brush strokes these works cast a mirror on our own lives.
