Dingley’s Promise, the national provider of specialist SEND support and training for children in the early years, are working with Wiltshire Council to open a new specialist centre in Tidworth this month.
This will be the fifth specialist centre opened by Wiltshire Council supporting children under five who have Special Educational Needs and disabilities. The new centre will be operated by Dingley’s Promise, bringing their expertise to enhance provision for families in the area.
The site at Wylye Road in Tidworth will offer approximately 10 places per session, providing early identification of need and targeted support to nurture each child’s developmental progress.
With a focus on inclusion and adaptability to meet the needs of children and respond to their motivations, the centre will provide an inclusive and engaging curriculum to inspire children to explore and develop independence and confidence. The centre will also provide a vital outreach support service and signposting to local families of children with SEND.
“Where the right early intervention can be provided at the right time, it can be transformational for children’s long term outcomes. We are very excited to be opening a Dingley’s Promise specialist centre within Wiltshire, to offer local children with SEND and their families the support and guidance which is vital in the earliest months and years of their child’s life,” said Lee Friend – Chief Operating Officer, Dingley’s Promise.
Dingley’s Promise joins the existing Early Years Specialist Provision in Wiltshire and will work in close partnership with families, professionals, and mainstream settings to promote inclusion, build confidence, and support children’s development.
The new centre, opening in January 2026 will be the 11th specialist setting run by Dingley’s Promise, as it expands it SEND provision and Family Support outreach programme to meet the needs of more children and families across England, offering 1:1 support, coffee mornings, Stay and Play sessions and information sessions.
