Swindon-based recruitment business supports a different kind of candidate by announcing their sponsorship of local boxer, Zach Corbett.
iRecruit4, founded by Ashlea Fisher, is a local recruitment firm committed to giving back to the community. The team raised over £6000 for local charities in the Wiltshire and Swindon area throughout 2025 and provide a scheme which pledges a percentage of selected permanent recruitment fees to causes chosen by clients and candidates. 2026 is no different.
“Putting community at the heart of the business felt like the natural thing to do for me and if we’re able to help, support, and give back, then we absolutely should. It’s not just good business, it’s the right thing to do and helping young enthusiastic kids is so important,” said director, Ashlea.
This year, they are announcing a different way they are supporting their community, through sponsoring local boxing talent, from Malmesbury Amateur Boxing Club, and his trainer Mike.
Zach’s sporting journey began in football at age five and during lockdown he discovered boxing. He progressed quickly through kickboxing belts and found his true calling at Malmesbury’s boxing club.
This sponsorship is close to Ashlea’s heart, she said: “In my adolescence, I was a boxer myself. I’ve always had a strong connection to the sport and a real appreciation for the discipline, resilience, and mindset it builds.”
Despite only competing for a year, Zach’s been named 2025 National Novice Youth Champion (57–60kg) and finished runner-up in the National Youth Championships. This May, he’s taking on his first European fight in Andorra, representing both himself and his club in a title competition.
“Getting involved with the club and seeing Zach’s journey brought all of that back. You can see the dedication and hard work he puts in, and I know first-hand what it takes to keep showing up and pushing yourself. It felt like a natural decision, I wanted to give something back to the sport that gave me so much,” continued Ashlea.
IRecruit4’s sponsorship is a year’s financial support for Zach’s boxing and will providing any equipment or support he needs to progress his sporting career.
Sue Corbett, Zach’s mother, commented on how this sponsorship will help him achieve his goal.
“This sponsorship makes a significant difference to Zach and our family. It opens doors to opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to access. Competing on the international stage is a crucial step toward achieving his dream, but it comes with considerable costs. This support will play a vital role in helping us fund those opportunities and continue Zach’s journey,” she said.
Supporting young and ambitious talent is something that Ashlea’s passionate about and personal sponsorship felt like a natural next step in iRecruit4’s charitable endeavours.
“Zach is a brilliant young man and what really stands out is his attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn,” Ashlea concluded. “I’ve seen how much confidence can grow in someone when they’ve got the right people backing them. This year Zach is our BOY at iRecruit4, and we can’t wait to be sat in his corner!”
