A Swindon web agency has won a national award for the second time in three years, following a 20-year history of supporting small businesses from Swindon’s Old Town.
SWINDON, WILTSHIRE — 24th July 2026 — O’Brien Media, a website design and digital services agency based in Swindon’s Old Town, has been named Best Web Design & Development Agency – Wiltshire 2026 in the SME News UK Enterprise Awards.
The award follows O’Brien Media’s 2024 recognition as Most Client-Focused Web Design Company – Wiltshire in the same awards programme.
Established in 2006, O’Brien Media, a Living Wage Employer and Disability Confident Leader, builds websites, and provides support services. The small Old Town based team works with startups and small businesses locally and across the UK, from first ideas and advice through to day-to-day support once a site is live.
The team credit themselves as firm believers in the power of human connection in technology, working closely with business owners to enable them to show their business in the most authentic way online.
On winning the award Chris Grant from O’Brien Media said “We’re really pleased to receive this award. A good website should make running a business, and connecting with customers, easier, not add another thing to worry about. That is what the team works towards with every customer.
Chris continued “To be recognised again by SME News, after being given the 2024 award, is a lovely boost for our team and is something we’re really proud of.”
The UK Enterprise Awards recognise businesses from across the country for their recent work and performance with SME News awards judged on merit.
