New splash park at Coate Water

Revealed! Here’s what the new splash park at Coate Water will look like!

The new £475,000 splash park will include a paddling pool, water features and games.

The design takes onboard community feedback following a survey and focus group held last year.

The new facility is designed to be fully accessible with the use of flat surfaces and a slope to get into the paddling pool (to allow wheelchair access), rumble strips, handrails, and interactive elements located outside of the wet zones.

If you visit the park over the coming weeks you may see work taking place to install the new equipment. We expect the splash park to be opened in time for the summer.
