Filestream Managing Director to run London Landmarks Half Marathon for Tommy’s

Paul Day, managing director of specialist document management company Filestream, is taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April to raise money for baby charity Tommy’s.

The half marathon takes runners through central London, passing some of the city’s best-known landmarks. Paul will be running as part of Team Tommy’s, supporting the charity’s work around miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth.

This won’t be Paul’s first challenge for Tommy’s. In 2023, he took part in the charity’s Skyscraper Challenge, running up 42 floors of The Cheesegrater before abseiling back down. Since then, he’s continued to support the charity through fundraising and events.

“Following on from supporting Tommy’s in their Skyscraper Challenge, I’m proud to be joining Team Tommy’s in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026,” Paul said. “They do vital work to help make pregnancy and birth safer, and it’s a cause that means a great deal to me.”

Paul, who lives just over the county border in Berkshire, chose to support Tommy’s for personal reasons. His niece and her husband lost their baby son, Win, and raising money for the charity is something he feels strongly about.

“This charity is very close to my heart,” Paul said. “Being able to run for Tommy’s this year is a real honour. I’m incredibly grateful for the support from my family, friends, and my colleagues at Filestream. It makes a huge difference.”

Tommy’s funds research into miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth, and provides clear, trusted pregnancy health information for parents. The charity believes it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy or birth and works to improve outcomes for families across the UK.

Paul’s London Landmarks Half Marathon follows his completion of the London Marathon in 2025, where he raised over £4,000 for charity. While this challenge is shorter, the reason behind it remains just as important.

As part of his fundraising activities, Paul is also hosting a quiz night at the Doubletree by Hilton Swindon on March 19th from 7.30pm.
