Celebrate the Festive Season with JOY at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon

With only a few weeks until Christmas, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon is delighted to announce its 2024 holiday activities for its shoppers.

Transforming the Centre into a festive wonderland, this season Swindon Designer Outlet unveils its much-anticipated Santa’s Flight School, launching November 30th and open daily until Christmas Eve. Tickets for this immersive experience are available to book now.

This year, families are invited to step into the enchanting Forest Glade where they can meet Santa’s magical reindeer, play games with the Forest Flight elves, and learn to soar in Santa’s famous sleigh. Designed to create lasting memories, Santa’s Flight School also gives children the chance to make holiday wishes together in a beautifully decorated setting.

Guests from across the Southwest can look forward to this unforgettable Christmas experience, with crafts, delightful characters, and photo opportunities that bring the season to life. Each 30-minute session, filled with holiday magic, promises families a memorable festive adventure to complement their seasonal shopping trip.

While the Santa’s Flight School experience is free, a £2.50 deposit per child is required, which can be refunded upon arrival or donated to the Designer Outlets charity partner Julia’s House Hospice. Bookings are now open, with sessions available daily from November 30th to December 24th.

In the spirit of inclusivity, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon will also offer tailored SEN sessions, allowing children who benefit from smaller groups and quieter settings to fully enjoy the experience. These dedicated sessions will be held in the Workshop every Tuesday at 11am and 11:45am, and on Sundays at 11am.

In addition, the Swindon Designer Outlet is proud to be hosting the Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal for the second year in a row, with a toy donation station located at the Centre’s West Entrance starting November 11th. Having ran for five years, this community initiative invites visitors to share the joy of the season by donating toys to local children in need.

Tina Cumpstey, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon, shared, “We’re thrilled to bring the community together again with Santa’s Flight School and support the Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal. It’s a wonderful way for families to enjoy some festive fun while making a positive impact on the community. We encourage everyone to book their tickets early, as this is a holiday event you won’t want to miss.”
