Award-winning speaker named among world’s leading happiness speakers

An award-winning author, coach and international keynote speaker from Lincolnshire has been named among the world’s leading happiness speakers by global speaking agency Champions.

Taz Thornton has been included in the agency’s Official Top 10+ Happiness Speakers in the World for 2026, an editorial ranking based on insights from more than 275 corporate event polls and industry data.

Known for her work in leadership, resilience and authentic influence, Taz said she was “genuinely blown away” by the recognition, which places her alongside globally recognised speakers, academics and thought leaders working in the wellbeing and leadership space.

Rather than focusing on surface-level positivity, Taz’s work explores how people show up in leadership, teams and everyday life, drawing on real-world experience and honest conversations about resilience, responsibility and personal growth.

“I was genuinely blown away to discover I’d been named as one of the world’s leading happiness speakers. I’m still slightly stunned by it, if I’m honest, and deeply honoured to be listed alongside people doing extraordinary work in this space.

“Happiness isn’t a label I ever expected to be associated with my work. Most of what I talk about was shaped during periods that felt anything but happy at the time — it came from trying to make sense of those experiences rather than trying to package them into something polished.”

Her leadership work has become increasingly prominent in recent years, particularly through her Soul Archetypes keynote, which explores how behaviour shapes workplace culture and how individuals can become more intentional about the energy and impact they bring into different spaces.

“A genuinely healthy workplace isn’t built by telling people to be positive — it comes from awareness, accountability and people understanding the impact they have on others, whether they intend it or not.”

A triple TEDx speaker and multi-award-winning coach, Taz has built a reputation for helping individuals and organisations develop confidence, clarity and authentic influence through her practical and no-nonsense approach.

As a bestselling author, she has written several books including Unleash Your Awesome, The So What? Mindset, Whispers from the Earth and her latest title, More Whispers from the Earth.

The recognition highlights Taz’s growing global reputation as a speaker bringing a practical, human perspective to leadership and culture, while continuing to work with organisations and audiences both in the UK and internationally.
