Yuletide cheer at award-winning Cotswold hotel

The Crown at Ampney Brook (part of Wild Thyme & Honey and a Grosvenor property) have recently celebrated being named the County Winner for Gloucestershire in the 2025 National Pub & Bar Awards.

And now, just in time for Christmas, the popular hotel near Cirencester is offering a truly magical winter dining event.

The Magical Winter Nights menu is served in the enchanting courtyard under twinkling lights and starry skies. Imagine a Bavarian après ski experience with a warm cup of mulled wine or cider, a variety of hot chocolate drinks, marshmallows to toast on the open fire and indulging in a menu that includes a molten cheese fondue for two, a variety of German sausage bratwursts in a roll followed by churros or toffee apples.

Even if the weather is cold, there is the open fire, flaming patio heaters, soft warm blankets and sheepskin rugs to keep you warm. This fairytale setting with gorgeous Christmas decorations is perfect for everyone – young and old – and has plenty of Yuletide cheer.

Taste the experience every Wednesday to Saturday evening from 5pm-8pm in the lead up to Christmas. Book your table at https://www.wildthymeandhoney.co.uk/the-crown-pub.
