The Recovery Tree Charity Unveil New Website built by GEL Studios

The Recovery Tree Charity, a leading Swindon-based organisation dedicated to supporting individuals on their mental health journey toward positive fulfilment, is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new website designed and developed by creative agency GEL Studios.

This collaborative project brings better transparency to the charity’s mission and enhances the online experience of its valued supporters.

Previously, The Recovery Tree Charity had three websites, one for the charity itself and two for its additional projects – the Olive Tree Cafe and TWIGS Community Gardens which caused fragmentation in the charity’s online presence and made it difficult to update three websites regularly. As a result, there was a need to simplify the website structure and update its design to improve the charity’s overall communication methods.

Having worked closely with the board and trustees, GEL Studios built a new platform that features a modern design uniting the individual organisations under one virtual roof and encourages consistency across all of its messaging, ensuring a cohesive online presence across all three organisations. The new website also simplifies the user experience, making it easier to navigate and administer, and highlights the work its valued supporters do for the community.

The recently launched website is a testament to the unwavering commitment of both The Recovery Tree Charity and GEL Studios towards supporting the local area. The new website can be found at: www.therecoverytreecharity.org.uk

Dick Millard, chair of trustees of the Recovery Tree Charity, said:

“The team at GEL Studios were really easy to work with. They understood what we needed to do and why, they involved us fully in the design process and were responsive to feedback and requests.

“We are delighted by the result: it works well, looks good and helps us explain to our stakeholders who we are and what we do. This is an important moment for us: the new website is the first element in our communications plan which will connect us more strongly to the community we serve.”

Graeme Leighfield, Founder of GEL Studios said:

“Here at GEL Studios we’re all about giving back to our community, so when The Recovery Tree Charity approached us about a new website we were more than happy to help. The Recovery Tree is a great cause and makes a real difference in supporting those in need in the Swindon area.

“Helping others is a fundamental part of our agency. GEL Studios has offered its services on a pro bono basis to hundreds of organisations over the past 10 years, which ultimately has made a difference to thousands of people in our local community and beyond.”
