The Rattlebone Inn in Sherston, Wiltshire, has won the Punch Pubs & Co Pub of the Year category at the Great British Pub Awards 2026, bringing national recognition to the village pub and its team.
Matthew Wofinden-England and his husband Charlie have run the pub since November 2024. Head chef Roger Payne leads its AA Rosette kitchen. The pub combines a traditional village bar and dining room with a courtyard and The Barn for events and gatherings.
Matthew and Charlie want to thank every member of staff, past and present, and the regulars and wider Sherston community who have supported the pub.
