The Pursuit Agency is Named Best Start Up of the Year 2024

Wiltshire entrepreneur Rob Curtis who set up the Pursuit Agency just over two years ago is celebrating with his team after being named the Best Start Up Of The Year 2024.

Rob, who lives in Swindon, and his team received their award at the TBE Awards event held at Cumberwell Park in Bradford on Avon on October 17.

“We are so thrilled to receive this award and it’s wonderful to know that a panel of judges have looked in forensic detail at my company and deemed it worth of such an award. Given the calibre of our fellow nominees, we’ve very privileged to be deemed worthy of this win.”

The TBE Awards, held in partnership with headline sponsor Thrings, celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship across Bath & North East Somerset and Swindon & Wiltshire. There were more than 130 entries across 14 categories. The TBE Awards are making their debut this year, marking the inaugural celebration of excellence within the region’s business community.

These new awards are designed to build upon the legacy of the highly successful Techies awards, which ran for six years and have now evolved.

The entries were judged by panel of business owners including; Kate Westbrook, Partner & Head of Commercial at Thrings; Paddy Bradley MBE, Director at No 11 Consultants Ltd; Michelle Pow, Business Development Manager at School of Management, University of Bath; Debbie Gilbert, Director of Viva Business Support; Kat Wellum-Kent, Founder of Fractional Finance; James Eades, Managing Director of Systemagic; Emma Carter, Director of Membership Business West; Mirabelle Stobbs, Programme Manager at Swindon Council; Ali Hadavizadeh, Business Support Specialist at Acorn Biz Solutions and Fiona Scott, TBE feature writer and owner of Scott Media.
