Swindon Paint Fest set to make a massive return this summer

Swindon Paint Fest is set to make a massive return for its third consecutive year this summer.

Talented artists from Swindon and around the world will be bringing their creativity and energy to the town for the annual Swindon Paint Fest on Saturday, 31st August and Sunday, 1st September 2024. Activities planned include large scale murals, live painting, exhibitions, family friendly workshops, music and more!

The festival received nearly 300 applications from talented and acclaimed artists from across the globe, firmly cementing Swindon Paint Fest on the street art festival calendar of events.

This year, the festival carries on building on Swindon’s existing mural art trail. It aims to continue to brighten up the town and create a sense of pride in local communities.

A number of free and inclusive activities and events are planned throughout the weekend inviting everyone to be inspired and to enjoy the freedom of expressing creativity in their own unique way.

This year’s Swindon Paint Fest is proudly supported by the Arts Council and local businesses and organisations. A huge thanks to the event sponsors; Rudi’s Bar, Tom Faulkner, GEL Studios, Pentel, Brewers Decorators Center, Zurich, SAS Elite Scaffolding, Painting by Numbers, UBeYou Paint, Kobra, Gustoso, Swindon Borough Council.
The organisers of Swindon Paint Fest, said:

“We are so excited to once again have the opportunity to bring people together and spark creativity within our town. We can’t thank the Arts Council and our sponsors enough for making this happen.

“Last year, we had so much positive feedback from visiting artists on how welcome they were made to feel in Swindon, which was incredible. The murals around town have brought so much joy and positivity to our lives. So we can’t wait to add to this and see what our chosen artists are going to create for us!”

The official event programme will be released over the next few weeks so keep an eye out on their social media @swindonpaintfest. For more information and updates on the festival click here or contact the organisers via email at swindonpaintfest@gmail.com
