Swindon-based financial advisers DSNY Wealth Planning donate £1,000 to Christ Church Swindon’s Christmas Dinner Appeal

DSNY Wealth Planning, a Swindon-based financial advisory firm specialising in lifestyle financial planning, has donated £1,000 to Christ Church Swindon’s Christmas Dinner Appeal, directly supporting Christ Church’s Alone at Christmas event.

Each year, the appeal helps Christ Church Swindon create a welcoming space for people who would otherwise spend the festive period alone.

On Christmas Day, guests are invited to share a traditional three-course Christmas dinner, enjoy Christmas carols, and watch the King’s Speech – bringing people together with warmth and connection during a period that can be particularly isolating for some.

The donation reflects DSNY Wealth Planning’s wider commitment to social value: supporting local communities, good causes and charities, alongside helping clients plan confidently for the lifestyles they want to lead. The firm actively seeks partnerships where there is shared purpose, collaboration and the potential to create an even greater positive impact.

DSNY’s support for Christ Church Swindon sits within a broader programme of community and sustainability action, including:

  • £20,000+ donated each year through donations, sponsorship and partnerships.
  • Support for three organisations aligned to DSNY’s four sustainability goals.
  • A net zero approach including investment in energy-efficient office space, electric vehicles and waste reduction, with unavoidable carbon usage offset through a Trees For Life partnership.

For DSNY, success goes beyond financial results; it’s about delivering for clients while making a practical difference in the local community.

Paul Fell, Chartered Financial Planner at DSNY Wealth Planning, said:

“Christmas can be an isolating time if you don’t have family nearby, you’ve lost someone close, or you’re simply facing the day on your own. What Christ Church Swindon does through their Alone at Christmas event is very powerful. It’s not just a meal; it’s a reminder that your community is there for you. Supporting this appeal is important to us because it aligns with what DSNY stands for: helping people live well, while making sure our success contributes to a stronger and kinder Swindon.”
