Revolution Performing Arts Founder Takes Home Silver at Best Businesswomen Awards

Swindon entrepreneur Fi Da Silva Adams has triumphed at the national Best Businesswomen Awards, the UK’s largest recognition platform for women in business.

Fi, the Founder and CEO of Revolution Performing Arts (RPA) Swindon and Wiltshire’s leading performing arts company for children and young people, has proudly clinched a Silver award for the prestigious Best Businesswoman Working with Children & Families.

This recognition marks a momentous achievement for Fi, whose leadership has grown RPA into Swindon and Wiltshire’s leading performing arts company for children and young people. The award acknowledges Fi’s outstanding contributions to the category of Best Businesswoman Working with Children & Families.

Reflecting on the evening, Fi shared, “While we may not have taken home the Gold, I am absolutely thrilled to have won the Silver Award! This is our first time being a finalist for a national award, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Revolution Performing Arts along the way.

“It was a truly wonderful evening spent with my family and a valued member of my team, who has been my rock throughout this journey. A massive thank you to Debbie Gilbert for creating such an inspiring event, and congratulations to all the other incredible Gold and Silver winners. It was heartwarming to connect with so many brilliant women, all striving to make a difference!”

Fi’s journey with RPA began in 2007, initially as a drama group for toddlers and preschoolers. Since then, she has expanded the initiative to offer a diverse range of performing arts programmes for children of all ages.

Today, RPA runs over 1,292 sessions annually, engaging with over 400 local children each week and supporting nearly 5,000 participants through its Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme.

In addition to RPA, Fi also oversees Rapport Community Interest Company (CIC), a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on young people aged 11-18, offering free opportunities for those affected by domestic abuse. Through both organisations, Fi is a passionate advocate for the empowering role of the arts in helping young people express themselves.

As a Silver award winner, Fi joins the exclusive Winners Club, which allows her to participate in networking events held biannually in London. These gatherings offer an invaluable opportunity for past and present winners to connect with each other, as well as with sponsors and judges from the awards.

The Best Businesswomen Awards ceremony took place on October 11 2024, at Hilton Syon Park, London, bringing together an inspiring group of women dedicated to making an impact in their respective fields.
