A local recruitment business is marking the end of 2025 by reflecting on a year of charitable giving, after linking its permanent recruitment placements with donations to charitable causes chosen by clients and candidates.
Across the year, the team, based in Royal Wootton Bassett and working with many Swindon companies, have donated a total of £6,082.73 to charity.
Throughout 2025, iRecruit4, founded by Ashlea Fisher, pledged a percentage of selected permanent recruitment fees to causes chosen by clients and candidates. For the team at iRecruit4, recruitment goes beyond filling roles and is built around people, relationships and shared values.
Ashlea said “Recruitment puts us alongside people at important moments in their lives and careers. When those moments carry deeper meaning, it feels right to give something back. ‘We share because we care’ isn’t just a slogan for us. It’s genuinely how we choose to do business.”
During 2025, iRecruit4 supported several charities by donating a proportion of its placement fees, ensuring that each contribution was directly connected to the individuals involved in the recruitment process.
One such donation saw iRecruit4 give £300 to the Epilepsy Research Institute UK in memory of Beatrice Matthews-Kilhams. The donation followed a placement where both client and candidate shared personal experiences of loss, prompting the business to donate ten per cent of the placement fee to charity.
Beatrice was the daughter of a client who passed away from a seizure suddenly and unexpectedly aged just 18.
Her mother Alexandra Matthews-Kilhams, said: “I’ve never worked with a recruitment business that shared such empathy and compassion. Not only did they find us a superb fit with a smooth hiring process, but they truly understood us, our people, our values and our story.”
“Supporting people doesn’t stop once a role is filled,” said Ashlea. “In this case, the story behind the placement really stayed with us, and we wanted to honour that by supporting causes that mattered personally to those involved.”
Later in the year, iRecruit4 supported Care for Kids North Devon, by donating a percentage of a permanent placement fee after being moved by the personal experience of a candidate they had recently placed.
The business also backed a fundraising challenge when candidate George Thompson representing iRecruit4 in a 10K run in support of Care for Kids North Devon. George completed the challenge in 1 hour, 8 minutes and 59 seconds while carrying 20lb weight plates, with iRecruit4 supporting both the fundraising effort and the charity through a percentage donation from the placement fee. George raised over £1200 including Gift Aid on her JustGiving page.
