Play On! at Salisbury Playhouse

Presented by Talawa, the UK’s leading Black theatre company, this contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is set in the jazz scene of New York’s Cotton Club.

Meet Vy, a talented songwriter aiming to make it big in the 1940’s Harlem scene. She quickly learns that women will never be taken seriously in a man’s world but is determined to prove them wrong – who will come out on top?

Be swept up in a syncopated symphony of melodies, mistaken identities and romance in this musical spectacular that will have your hands clapping along to the timeless soundtrack.
