New social media podcast takes you Beyond the Hashtag

A new podcast has been launched by social media and communications agency, Naturally Social to help business owners understand the power of social media when trying to drive change in society or create social value.

Beyond the hashtag’ will officially launch on Sunday, May 1 and a new episode will air every two weeks. Episodes will be a mixture of informal guest interviews about how they use social media to help their purpose, and top tips on how to create an engaged audience and great content by Naturally Social’s founder, Natalie Sherman.

Natalie said: “I’m so excited to be launching our first podcast. I’ve realised over the years that there is so much good information out there that can help businesses and charities with their socials, but it’s finding the time to search and read through it all. We’ve compacted our podcasts into 15-minute, bite-size chunks of entertainment and information. Perfect to have a listen to either on your lunch break or in the car to or from work.”

Some of the guests already lined up include Lucy Smith, from Inclusive Change, Marks Get Set founder Mark Walters, Ben Veal from Second Mountain Communications and Rin&Co founder Rin Hamburgh.

The podcast can be found on Spotify, Apple Music and other music streaming services by searching for ‘Beyond the Hashtag’ either on, or after, May 1. All sessions will also be filmed and can be watched back on the company’s YouTube channel.
