Judith Parkyn, a leading photographer who has run her business out of Sherston, is celebrating her 10th business anniversary this month.
Since 2015, Judith has built a reputation for capturing heartfelt moments, specialising in weddings, family sessions, and commercial photography.
“It’s been an incredible journey so far and it’s been wonderful to meet so many terrific people along the way. Like many small business owners I have faced adversity over the years, the covid years included, and I can’t quite believe I’ve made it to this 10 year milestone. It feels like a major achievement.”
Over the past decade, Judith has photographed over 200 weddings across Wiltshire and surrounding areas, earning recognition for her ability to make her clients feel at ease and effortlessly bringing out the natural beauty in every shot.
In recent years, Judith has expanded her services to include business photography, offering high-quality team photos and marketing images tailored to the needs of local companies. This move has allowed the business to continue growing year on year, with 2025 looking to be the busiest year this year.
“My journey into photography began with a love for nature and wildlife, before I discovered the deeper joy of capturing real, meaningful moments between people. After being asked by friends to photograph their weddings, I decided to take the opportunity to leave my previous role and devote myself to photography full time.”
Judith’s commitment to delivering stunning, timeless photographs remains at the core of her work, and as the business enters its second decade, she is more excited than ever about the future. “I am incredibly grateful for the support of my clients and the local community over the last ten years. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this journey and am really looking forward to what’s ahead,” said Judith.
