HPH supporting Warminster high street’s regeneration

HPH has acquired three properties in central Warminster with the aim of tackling long-term vacancy and supporting the regeneration of the town’s historic high street. The listed buildings, located at 20-24 Market Place, occupy prominent positions in the town centre.

The investment adds fresh momentum to the ongoing revitalisation of Warminster’s high street, and provides support for local businesses and the wider community. The properties are situated close to the recently opened Neighbourhood Warminster, a café offering local produce, and the all-day Malto Lounge, part of the Loungers Group.

Gift and homeware store Pixie & Pickle will be opening at 20 Market Place on 29th November, following completion of the first phase of repair works, and 24 Market Place is now under offer. Meanwhile, plans are in place to further improve and restore the properties. Although 20 and 22 Market Place have sat empty for a long time and the listed status of the buildings presents some challenges, HPH has the skill, experience and commitment needed to carry out improvements which respect the buildings’ heritage and enhance their value to the town.

“We already have a presence in Warminster and we’ve been witnessing positive changes,” says Katie Holdoway, Executive Director of HPH. “The appearance of new operators and the town centre markets held every three months are restoring vibrancy in town, drawing visitors and locals to the special high street of Warminster.”

She adds: “The properties are in need of some attention but have great character. We have already received enquiries from several businesses and plenty of interest from locals, indicating that the town is keen to welcome more businesses to its high street. The town centre is becoming more lively, amenities are improving, and we are keen to play our part in its regeneration.”

HPH is no stranger to the area, already owning Northlands Industrial Estate, home to tenants such as Armera and Casa Bella. This latest acquisition highlights a continued commitment to Warminster and confidence in its future as a thriving location for families and businesses.
