Since the launch of Horizon Experiences in February 2021 (the day before the country went into lockdown) Swindon’s only Open Air Cinema SME has overcome some major obstacles. Launching in a pandemic; re-planning the business and plans to offer bell tent and intimate garden cinema hire; ‘re-re-launching’ within covid restrictions to then move back to our original business plan with a keen focus on realigning the original idea!
The markets and audiences have been extremely unpredictable meaning all the planning and market research we had was thrown to the sides on top of the money we had already invested.
To date, our aim has been to grow and maintain the business, and now through sheer hard work, careful business management, and a big heap of can-do attitude, Horizon Experiences are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest experience, Bluey the mobile bar!
She’s a stunningly spacious vintage converted caravan in a gorgeous teal blue (coincidentally one of our brand colours) with some striking interior and even better exterior decorations offering a full bar including some really special locally sourced spirits and draughts; cocktails with the purest ingredients; all important hot drinks, including fully loaded hot chocolates (perfect for the chiller summer evenings) and a great selection of traditional and popular locally sourced, freshly made indulgent bar snacks!
Unlike some competitors we’ll offer Bluey beautifully decorated with perfect lilac/white hanging wisteria (think Bridgerton…a real showstopper for any event) and for the evening she’s filled with plenty of pretty fairy lights offering a real focal point for guests along with a couple of bar stools and tables for guests to enjoy their drinks.
We can’t wait to see her in all her glory at our pending Open Air Cinema events across Wiltshire, Gloucester and Avon and Somerset.
