Fairford Steam is Coming Back!

Article by Chris Roberts MBE PR

The greatly missed Fairford Steam Rally that has not taken place in Fairford for nearly ten years will be back in Fairford under the new name ‘Fairford Steam Classic & Retro Show‘.

Taking place on Saturday and Sunday August 19 and 20 on 25.5 acres of land at Lady Lamb Farm, Waiten Hill, the traditional show will not only be showing steam engines, agricultural vehicles and all things retro, but will also be highlighting Fairford the town and especially its commerce. So, wherever possible, the organisers will be using local companies and clubs for services and for catering.

Stall holders will also be welcome to take a pitch and Fairford businesses are invited to take part.

There is, however, a great need for sponsorship to help fund this event, so if you can help or know someone that can help with a grant or donation, then please contact Steve Evans on 07909 118703.
