Ever Wanted to Be Lord or Lady of the Manor?

Well, now you can – and I can definitely recommend the experience!

Have you ever considered taking a holiday with a group of close friends, but it’s often difficult to find a hotel with enough rooms to accommodate everyone? Or maybe you have a big family milestone that needs celebrating, and you’d like a big enough venue where everyone can eat, drink, sleep and be merry!

At Cardynham House in Painswick in the Cotswolds, you can do just that – enjoy quality time with your own group of friends and/or family in super luxury surroundings with all the facilities included that you might need.

Owned by ARC (a company offering a unique tourism concept), Cardynham House is a stunning three-storey 15th century wool merchant’s manor house updated and tastefully modernised and retaining many of its original features.

It has nine bedrooms – all with ensuite facilities – that can accommodate up to 26 people in total; a beautiful dining space with a table big enough for all your friends/family to sit around to enjoy a meal from the nearby take-away; a home-cooked special dinner prepared in the state-of-the-art on-site kitchen or you can call the concierge, ARC Lobby, and arrange for a chef to come and spoil you and your guests.

There are lots of board games to play in a variety of large sitting rooms and snugs plus your own bar area to serve a celebratory drink or a cocktail treat.

Depending on the weather, you can either sunbathe on the beautiful courtyard patio and take a dip in the large, heated swimming pool or wrap up warm to enjoy countryside walks in and around historic Painswick. Other activities can also be arranged – if you want – through ARC Lobby. There will never be a moment with nothing to do unless, of course, you actually want nothing to do and choose to curl up on one of the sumptuous sofas to read a book or sleep off that alfresco lunch.

Situated on a quiet road in the middle of Painswick and right next door to the famous St Mary’s Church with its famous 99 yew trees, Cardynham House is a fabulous place to enjoy the new way to take a break or holiday with all your loved ones around you. A special, luxurious and definitely decadent home-from-home.
