We can’t wait to welcome the Merry Monarch back to Berkeley Castle this May bank holiday weekend (Sunday 26th – Monday 27th May).

The timetable for the event is:

11:00 Castle opens
11:30 Maypole Dancing
12:30 Arrival of the King on horseback followed by Equestrian 6-horse display
13:00 Meet The King in the Great Hall
13:30 Music in the Great Hall
14:30 Maypole dancing
15:30 Equestrian 6-horse display followed by Departure of the King on Horseback
16:00 Maypole Dancing
17:00 Event ends

The event is included in our standard admission ticket, now on sale on our website www.berkeley-castle.com
