Award-winning creative agency, GEL Studios, is celebrating a decade of bespoke websites, beautiful branding and meaningful marketing this June.
GEL Studios works with businesses across the country to elevate their visibility, both online and in-person, through a wide range of marketing efforts. It specialises in Branding, Websites, Design and Marketing.
The agency and its team of experts have grown exponentially in the last few years and following the opening of their bigger and better studios in March, it is a really exciting time for GEL Studios.
Graeme Leighfield, Managing Director, launched GEL Studios on 13th June 2013 out of his spare bedroom. After hiring its first employee, in 2015, GEL Studios became a full-service agency and moved to its first offices in Gemini House. At that point, the agency focused on website design and development as well as graphic design services.
With a drive to grow the agency further, by 2018, the company was on the move again. Landing in South Marston Industrial Estate, in Unit 8 for four years before opening its second studio next door in 2021; this added space allowed for more client meetings, welcoming prospects and having focused team meetings.
During this time, the agency not only expanded its premises but its offerings too. In 2021, the business launched its Marketing services, including PPC advertising, Social Media Management and SEO as well as Photography services.
After this pivotal period of growth and reaching a full house with 10 employees, a bigger office awaited.
Managing Director, Graeme, undertook the ambitious project of renovating a 300-year-old farmhouse in South Marston, located a few doors up from their now-former office. The state-of-the-art office project started at the end of February and with help from a team of local tradespeople, GEL Studios’ newest headquarters opened its doors on 3rd March 2023.
This major step in the company’s growth will allow them to welcome a greater number of clients to the studio and grow the team.
After a decade of trading, GEL Studios is hoping to keep bringing their clients’ visions to life and with this, keep giving back to the community the way they have over the years.

I’m proud to say that we’re 100% organically grown with no outside investment – being here this long is a testament to our ability to continually produce best-in-class work.
“As we move into the next decade, our vision is twofold, firstly to continue working with businesses that want to make real lasting change, and second, to continue contributing to worthwhile causes in and around our local community.
