With only a few weeks until Christmas, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon is delighted to announce its 2024 holiday activities for its shoppers.
Transforming the Centre into a festive wonderland, this season Swindon Designer Outlet unveils its much-anticipated Santa’s Flight School, launching November 30th and open daily until Christmas Eve. Tickets for this immersive experience are available to book now.
The Christmassy mood doesn’t stop with the shopping. Make a day of it with priceless memories in our centre, beautifully decorated for the occasion, and an indulgent stop in one of our 15 cafés and restaurants. Mulled wine anyone? Enjoy quality time together as a family as the Christmas anticipation builds.
In addition, the Swindon Designer Outlet is proud to be hosting the Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal for the second year in a row, with a toy donation station located at the Centre’s West Entrance starting November 11th. Having ran for five years, this community initiative invites visitors to share the joy of the season by donating toys to local children in need.

Santa’s Flight School
Experience a taste of magic this Christmas with our Santa’s Flight School experience. This year Santa invites you to the enchanted Forest Glade, to meet his magical reindeer, play games with the Forest Flight elves and, of course, learn to fly in his famous sleigh. Full of festive magic, families will make memories to treasure for a lifetime
In this FREE 35-minute group experience, you can expect to find beautiful photo opportunities and festive fairy-tale creatures hanging-out and getting up to mischief before having the chance to step aboard Santa’s Sleigh to take the reins! Children will also get to take home their very own bag of reindeer food.
Santa’s Flight School will be open 30th November to 24th December. Our Christmas experience is free however we have a £2.50 booking fee which is refundable or can be donated to our charity partner of the year Julia’s House Hospice.
Swindon Designer Outlet also offers an inclusive SEN session that involves the same activities, but in smaller groups and a quieter environment for those who prefer those experiences.

Ramsbury Pop-up
Celebrate the festive season in style with Ramsbury Distillery as they bring holiday cheer and award-winning spirits to the Ramsbury Winter Cabin at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Swindon.
Running from Friday 22nd November to Sunday 22nd December, the immersive four-week pop-up will offer a festive escape where guests can unwind from holiday shopping and enjoy exclusive access to personalised bottles, Ramsbury cocktails, and the rustic charm of a pop-up bar which will reflect the distillery’s farm-to-glass ethos.
Kitted out with an insta-ready flower wall, Trunk Bar, twinkling lights, and luxurious seating to set the seasonal mood, this festive escape will offer guests an interactive gin journey, with the opportunity to enjoy seasonal cocktails and personalise their own gin bottles – perfect for gifting or a bespoke addition to a holiday collection.
Alongside these experiences, Ramsbury Distillery will showcase their latest products, specifically their festive Figgy Pudding Gin, alongside fan-favourite vodka and gin gift sets, giving shoppers the perfect opportunity to discover the brand’s commitment to sustainability and quality. Customisation options on select bottles make Ramsbury’s spirits ideal for thoughtful holiday gifts.
