Business Buzz supports Chippenham businesses with new monthly networking event in the centre of town

Business Buzz networking events are the vibrant, informal and beneficial way to meet other business owners, leaders and managers. There’s no membership fees or pressure, just great coffee and chat for just £10 plus VAT per session.

Paula Harsley recently set up her own business as a wordsmith and realised that there was a lack of networking opportunities in Chippenham. Having gained benefit from attending other Business Buzz events in the county, she decided to utilise the backing of the fantastic Business Buzz community in setting up her event.

The new networking event will launch on 13 February and then occur every second Tuesday between 10am and midday. It will be held at the Cellar at Wine Monkey with refreshments served by Coffee Gems. Both local businesses, Bryan Houde from Wine Monkey and Ricardo Pena from Coffee Gems were keen to support the new venture and understand that local businesses need support.

Paula, an enthusiastic networker and a seasoned business mentor will be hosting the events. She says “Three of my favourite things are listening, talking and helping others, so hosting this networking event will be a joy. There are so many brilliant businesses in and around Chippenham, and these informal sessions will give owners, managers and leaders the opportunity to chat, collaborate and build better business connections”.

With no membership fees to pay, those who wish to attend will simply pay for their place each month via the Business Buzz app. The sessions will be inclusive, professional and fun and everyone will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, but without formal pitches.

According to Entrepreneur.com, networking not only helps business owners connect, but it can assist in accessing new opportunities, ideas and learnings. In addition to building your organisation’s brand and reputation, networking can also significantly improve self-confidence, esteem, and perhaps most importantly of all for sole-traders in particular, can assist with providing emotional support.

Paula concluded “Whether you’re a seasoned networker, new to the idea, love it or loathe it – I will endeavour to make it fun, friendly and favourable for you and your business”.
