The sun shone and Fairford Steam Show welcomed hundreds of steam, classic and retro enthusiasts to the third year of this increasingly popular event.
There was Steam in the Square on the Friday night with big steam engines and mini-steam chock-full in Fairford’s Market Place alongside the traditional music organ playing old favourites.
The Bull Hotel kept everyone well fed and watered with their outside bar and catering facility, and Fairford’s shops stayed open to support this annual extravaganza.
Several charities/clubs also attended the Show to fundraise for their cause. In total, nearly £4,000 was raised by these organisations: Royal British Legion (Fairford branch); Fairford WI; Fairford & District Men in Sheds; the Police Dog Trust; Fairford Girl Guides and the British Legion Riders.
The Fairford Steam Show committee aims to showcase local businesses and what’s good about Fairford and is looking forward to welcoming you all again in 2026.
